Why did we develop this bespoke Envopak? 

Airlines purchase a lot of dry ice which they use to keep buy on board food chilled for the duration of the flight.  For short haul, the time that the aircraft is out can be as long as 12 hours.    Dry ice is expensive and, if the food comes into contact with it, it might overfreeze the food leading to additional waste. 

Airlines were looking for a solution to replace dry ice but which performed just as effectively in keeping the food at the required temperatures.
